Saxon House | Loddon – permission secured for additional supported housing units

Saxon House | Loddon

We are delighted to have secured permission on behalf of Orbit Group for additional supported housing units at their existing scheme at Saxon House, Loddon.

The proposal includes alterations to the existing building to rationalise the space and provide an additional 9 studio apartments, as well as space for a guest room, staff room, buggy store, library/IT room, laundry and hairdressers room.

Alongside this, 4 new 1 bed bungalows for supported living will be constructed within the grounds on underutilised land to the north of the existing building.  All 13 new units will be available for affordable rent which will further strengthen the provision of supported living options in the region and help residents to live independently whilst having access to the care services they need.
