Kate has 24 years’ experience in a wide range of planning work including site appraisals, enforcement, planning appeals including hearings and inquiries, as well as local plan promotion, but guiding schemes through the increasingly complex planning application process alongside architects and other external consultants is what Kate enjoys most.
Kate has great affection for the Lake District. Her most perfect day would end sitting in a cosy pub (with half a bitter and crisps) or a café (with coffee and cake) after a long walk with family – or even better, a day which involved both.
